About me
Xin chào, I'm Javier, a software developer born in Barcelona and based on planet earth. I’m
hard-working, analytical and very passionate about software development.
I decided to strengthen my skills and joined Microverse, where I acquired professional-level skills
including Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, Redux, Bootstrap and Test-Driven development
techniques. During that time, I designed and developed more than 50 professional projects through pair
programming with different coding partners remotely from around the world, and completed +70 coding
challenges. I also mentored and assisted other students on their projects, which gave me more confidence
as a
professional full-stack developer.
Being a chess lover helps me to prevent possible future problems and to think carefully about each of my
next moves.
I am also passionate about science fiction books, which helps me to be a person who is always willing to
learn
and evolve. I love to play sports and all kinds of outdoor activities, and also to give back to the
community
helping whenever I can. Travelling and meeting people around the world is another of my passions, as I
am a
globally minded person who thrives on diverse teams. I'm learning Vietnamese now, and I love learning
new
things.
